Nug of the Week: Romulan

romulan strain indica

Our nug of the week comes to us from out of this galaxy! Romulan is an almost pure indica with a lineage that's as hazy as the high you get from it. All that's really known about the Romulan genetics is that there's a little but of White Rhino in there. The strain has a powerful cerebral presence before mellowing out in a calming high, and a lot of users report smoking Romulan for pain-relief and relaxation. Here are some activities going on Washington that are out of this world and pair well with our nug of the week. Get your Romulan here!

Seattle Center Photo Walk with Glazer and Nikon

We find the strong cerebral effects of Romulan to be great for creative inspiration. With Fall being here, what better way to express that creativity than to go on a colorful urban photowalk? Nikon is partnering with Glazers for a two hour photo-walk lead by Joel Bremer, the regional representative for Nikon. There will be the latest Nikon gear available for you to check out and try, and you'll get tips and tricks from an industry leading professional. Whether you're a full fledged photographer stoner, or just a beginner stoner with a camera, there's something here for everyone to learn.

Stayin' Alive at Supernova! - Saturday Nov. 13

If you're into being high, live music, and disco, then smoke some Romulan and get yourself over to newest club in town, Supernova, for their Stayin' Alive night, Saturday November 13, 9pm to 4am.

"Stayin' Alive is the past, present and future of Disco! Guest and resident DJ's spin classics and NuDisco favorites accompanied by our resident live musicians and in-house band, Universal Peoples! Be dazzled by our magician, drag queens, costumed performers and more!"

Proof of Vaccination Requirement or Negative Covid Test Result Requirement:

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative Covid test result within 72hrs from day of show (vaccine card or photo of vaccine card with matching ID) is required for entry at Supernova.

Wild Mushrooms of the Olympic Peninsula Walking Tour - Friday Nov. 12

Join Hood Canal Adventures for a 2.5 hour walking tour through the Olympic National Forest to learn about the edible and non-edible mushrooms you can find there. Learn about what types of environments to look for, how to identify and harvest, and and how to make a spore print. You may even get to harvest some mushrooms if you run into a decent patch! The tour costs $49 to join, and is an easy walk suitable for all ages, even if the Romulan you're smoking isn't.

Cornucopia Class at Yoked Farmhouse and Brewery - Saturday Nov. 13

It's officially Thanksgiving season, which means cornucopias are back on the table (no pun intended!) Learn how to make your own cornucopia this year! Swing by Yoked Farmhouse and Brewery and get crafty. Instructions, supplies, and a beer are included in your $20 ticket.

Puzzling Adventures Scavenger Hunt

Our final recommendation for this week is a group scavenger hunt, so gather your friends, make sure you grab enough Romulan to go around, and have fun getting high and roaming the city in search of clues. Puzzling Adventures™ are a cross between a scavenger hunt, an adventure race, and an informative self-guided tour. Each adventure consists of a series of locations that you are guided to where you are required to answer questions or solve puzzles to receive your next instruction. All you need is your own mobile device and an Internet connection. Head to their website to register your group now!
