TOP 5 THINGS TO DO WHILE SMOKING OUR NUG OF THE WEEK: TANGERAY

TangEray is a citrusy yet slightly piney sativa hybrid bred by the popular Berner brand, Cookies, and distributed under the Lemonnade branch of the brand.

Believed to be a cross of Lemonnade (which already has mysterious genetics) and an unknown second strain, TangEray has a very uplifting and happy sort of high. We recommend this as a fantastic wake and bake strain as it usually brings forth an energetic high that's great for tackling to-do lists and going on adventures. Because of this, we thought we'd pair this fun, happy high with some things to do around the Seattle area. So make sure to pick up your TangEray from The Reef Capitol Hill today, and give one of these activities a try!

1. Tower of Power at Dimitriou's Jazz Alley - Oct. 21 to Oct. 24

Jazz and cannabis have always gone hand in hand, and the cannabis has only gotten better. The happy, almost euphoric state that TangEray leaves us in puts us in the perfect state of mind to go enjoy some horns, especially from a band as iconic as Tower of Power, who have been changing the soul game since the 70's. Check them out below, and if you're going to go see them, make sure you pick up some of that TangEray first. To learn more about Tower of Power and their shows this week, click here.

2. The Dinner Detective: Murder Mystery Dinner Show - Oct. 23/Oct. 30

It's spooky season again, and of course, that means now more than any other time of the year, murder mysteries are popping! Your ticket gets you a full plated dinner along with a show that's chock full of surprises and anything but your standard murder mystery dinner. What better way to spend your high than eating and solving mysteries! To learn more about the show or purchase tickets, make sure to visit The Dinner Detective.

3. She's All That: A '90s Halloween Party at Nectar Lounge - Oct. 22

If you're a 90's kids, then this one is for you. Nectar Lounge is hosting a 90's themed Halloween Party, with 90's prom attire being highly encouraged. Seattle's only tribute boyband, #All4Doras, as well as DJs Prime + Lo Knows are all going to keep the night live with all the 90's bops. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. To find out more, make sure to hit up Nectar Lounge.

4. Howl-O-Ween Dog Party at Peddler Brewing Company - Oct. 31

Getting high and playing with your dog is already a top-tier activity. Getting high and dressing up your pet to compete for prizes? Even better. Smoke some TangEray, get creative with your doggo's costume, and enter them in the costume contest for your chance to win some cool prizes, with the top prize being a $50 gift card to Peddler's, and a 2 month membership to Dog Yard Bar. Check out Peddler's website for more information on how to enter.

5. Georgetown Morgue Haunted House - Every Wednesday through Sunday, all October

This wouldn't be a complete list of things to do in Seattle in October if there wasn't a haunted house on this list. Of course, there are a ton to choose from, but my favorite one is the Georgetown Morgue Haunted House. It's a self guided tour through an actual morgue that has an interesting history - Nine members of the morgue staff were forced into the crematorium chamber, with no surviving witnesses or suspects, making this haunted house the scene of one of Seattle's most horrifying unsolved murders. Enter at your own risk.
