Nug of the Week: Monster Berry by Viking

This week's Nug of the Week is brought to you by one of our newer vendors, Viking Cannabis! This cross between Skunkberry and Mandarin Sunset is an indica hybrid that packs a strong high and an even stronger aroma. When we visited Viking's grow, we got the chance to sniff a bag of Monster Berry that was in the process of curing, and none of us could talk about anything else for the rest of the tour. Imagine a sweet red wine smell with a mild citrus note on the backend. We couldn't wait to get some Viking on our shelves and actually TRY the Monster Berry - and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The nose on the nuts carry over to the smoke. As far as the high goes, I definitely got a little heavy eye-lidded with a nice stoney feeling in my forehead, but I also found myself happy and talkative. That makes Monster Berry the perfect strain wether you're staying home alone for the weekend or going out and being social. But just in case you're looking for something do while you puff on some Monster Berry, here's our list of things going on around Washington that we think will pair well with this strain.

The more than 80 paintings, sculptures, films, photographs, and textiles on view are drawn from SAM’s collections and loans from local collectors. The 74 artists represented hail from 17 countries and seven Native American tribes making this exhibition a unique opportunity to cross the seas connecting global communities and see how artists grapple with the past, present, and future of water in our world." - Seattle Art Museum
