Scotti Piffen Strain by Tranquil Forest: A Balanced High-Scoring Hybrid

Updated: 5 days ago

Last November we had to humbly brag about finally having Tranquil Forest on our shelves at our Reef locations and we honestly haven't stopped since then. Tranquil Forest is a craft cannabis brand that is highly acclaimed by Washington smokers. Almost all of the genetics generated by Tranquil Forest are bred and created in-house, including their new Scotty Piffen strain. Therefore, their strains offer new and exotic flavor profiles that only Washington cannabis consumers get to enjoy for the time being!

Today, we'd like to take a moment to shine a spotlight on the Scotti Piffen strain produced by Tranquil Forest, now available in our Washington dispensaries.

Scotti Piffen Genetics and Flavors

The amazing team of cultivators at Tranquil Forest routinely produces some of our favorite flower and Scotti Piffen is no exception! This hybrid strain is made by crossing Gelato 33 and Biscotti. These parent strains are known to generate a variety of favorable attributes from the cannabis plant, including potentially potent effects and robust flavor profiles.

Gelato 33 is regarded as a well-balanced hybrid that offers smokers a sweet and citrus flavor. Alternatively, Biscotti is a more potent indica-dominant strain, known for its potentially cerebral highs and diesel flavors. Combined, these genetics produce the dense, dark buds that we know and love called Scotti Piffen. While Scotti Piffin is a hybrid, we feel that it leans a little more indica-dominant, potentially perfect for an evening smoke sesh, which we will elaborate on below.

Scotti Piffen Effects

Don't be fooled by the average THC content here (15-23%), Scotti Piffen definitely hits! Right off the bat, these nugs present the consumer with a spicy and herbal aroma, with notable undertones of gas. Given that the dominant terpenes are Caryophyllene and Myrcene, you can bet that this strain is going to bring about a relaxing state for most individuals, which some say then lulls you into euphoria and tranquility as the high settles in. Moreover, some reviews note that this strain might produce a full-body high, while also still allowing the consumer to be productive. Therefore, it might not put you to sleep, depending on how much you smoke.

We love this strain for unwinding after a long day to potentially help uplift the mind and relax tension within the body. Want to try Scotti Piffen? Come into one of our locations and check out this strain and more from Tranquil Forest.
